Every portrait below was shot at V2 — full wardrobe, full styling, full art direction. This is what your session could look like.
V2's principal photographer specialises in East Asian aesthetics — the lighting, angles, and retouching that make heritage portraits look like stills from a dynasty drama, not a costume rental.
Qipao, Hanfu, and Emperor/Empress court robes are all available on the day of your session. No costume sourcing, no rental trips, no logistics. Just arrive.
Every heritage session includes an East Asian editorial makeup artist who understands how to make Hanfu and Qipao styling translate on camera — glass skin, period-accurate hair, full transformation.
V2 is based in historic Binondo. The world's oldest Chinatown is not a set — it's the real thing, minutes from the studio. Heritage portraits here carry a weight no other Manila location can match.
Heritage styling can be added to any session type — a standalone portrait, a full prenup, or your wedding day. All led personally by V2's principal photographer.
Heritage sessions are booked on a limited basis. Full wardrobe and makeup artist availability is exclusive — secure your date early to guarantee your preferred costume and styling.
✦ Heritage styling (Qipao, Hanfu, Emperor & Empress) can be incorporated into any prenup package. Mention it when booking.
✦ Want a dynasty portrait session as part of your wedding day? Add heritage styling to your wedding package — ask us how.

I've been obsessed with Chinese dynasty dramas for years. Walking into V2 in full empress robes and having it photographed like an actual editorial — I cried. I never expected photos could feel this cinematic.
We did our prenup in Hanfu at Binondo and people on the street kept stopping to watch. The photos look like stills from a period film. Absolutely nothing like this exists in Manila.
As a cosplayer I've had photos taken a hundred times. V2 is the first photographer who understood lighting, composition and storytelling at this level. My Qipao set is the best thing I own.
